The Moscow Winter Festival “Journey to Christmas” is included in the World List of Particular Tourist Attractions as an intangible tourist attraction

The world's largest fair festival "Journey to Christmas" is annually held in Moscow in late December - early January. This is the brightest event of the year in the capital of Russia.

Numerous tourists and guests of the festival try the best Christmas treats from different parts of Russia and Europe, tourists admire the fabulously beautiful sites of illumination of world-famous light artists and become eyewitnesses to the performances of street theater actors in the open.

Performances, ice ballets, master classes, winter games and stunning light installations create a magical New Year's atmosphere.

At each of the sites of the Moscow Christmas Festival, shopping arcades, open-air stages, street theaters and pavilions for master classes are being built.

Depending on the scale and duration of events, the attendance of the festival ranges from 5 to 11 million people, residents of Russia and numerous tourists from many countries of the world.

According to experts of the International Committee on Tourism Attractiveness and Sustainable Development of Tourism, the Moscow Winter Festival “Journey to Christmas” is among the five best winter New Year festivals in the world.
